I grew up in Wiler bei Seedorf. After completing my Baccalaureate in Biel, I started studying dentistry in Bern in 2005. During my studies, I discovered that I would like to specialise more in orthodontics. After becoming certified as a dentist in Switzerland in 2010, I applied for one of the rare orthodontics specialisation programmes at a Swiss university. In the meantime, I was fortunate to gain valuable insights into the world of orthodontics while working at the practice of Dr Sacha Ryf. I also worked as a general dentist at a practice in Neuchâtel. From 2014 to 2018, I completed the four-year training programme in specialised dentistry at the University of Geneva. Which I completed with the title of specialised orthodontist (Switzerland) in 2020. Since May 2019, I have been a senior physician at the University of Geneva. In September of that year, my dream of opening my own practice came true. I am now the happy co-owner of the Lyssbachpark Orthodontics dental practice.

I have been a passionate handball player since the age of 15. My modest handball career started in Aarberg, led me to Lyss and then to HS Biel, where I have been an active player on the NLB team for many years. During this time, I met a lot of interesting people and had a lot of valuable experiences.

While in Geneva, I was able to fulfil my boyhood dream: I got my private pilot’s licence for flying small aircrafts. So if you don’t find me at my practice, there’s a chance that we could meet each other high above Lyss.

I also enjoy spending time in nature and discovering other countries and cultures.
